If you have a coaching programme, a mastermind, or another type of high-level training programme, you can use an application form survey to find out who is qualified to join your programme and receive a follow-up call.
Even the people who aren't qualified can receive a different follow-up process to either qualify them at a later date or sell them an alternative, more suitable product.
Why You Should Send An Application Form Survey
Let's face facts – not everyone in your audience is going to qualify for your advanced high-ticket product or service.
It might be that they just don't have the budget, or maybe they don't have the time right now to dedicate to your programme.
Whatever the reason, it's pretty much a must that you filter through your applicant and pinpoint who qualifies and who doesn't.
The brilliant thing about using a survey as your application form is that you get a whole bunch of useful data at the end which will allow you to really drill down and find out what people want and need from you.
The answers people give to you will help you when it comes to scheduling the sales call, you already know their pain points so you can sell them immediately on your solutions for those points!
What Should You Ask?
Rather than spend hours wondering what you should be asking in your survey, check out this example we put together for inspiration:
*The questions you ask in your application form will, of course, depend on your own products/services.*

What You Should Do With The Results
Once you've figured out who is a good fit for your high-ticket programme and who isn't, you can start setting off the party poppers as the payments start rolling in.
But, wouldn't it be nice if you could also still sell to the people who didn't qualify?
Well, the brilliant thing about using a survey as your application form is that you absolutely can!
We like to call this one the ‘traffic light' system:
Looks simple right?
Well, that's because it is.
With this system, you're giving yourself the opportunity to make some money from your amber and red applicants as well as the green ones.
It might not be high-ticket money, but every penny counts right?![bullet_block upload_icon=”https://blog.responsesuite.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/green-light.jpg” large_icon=”0.png” width=”” alignment=”center”]
- Most Likely To Join – You can send these people to a thank you page, but not just any old thank you page. This thank you page should be your scheduling tool so that the minute they qualify they can book a call. Instant gratification!
- Has A Smaller Budget – You could send these people straight to a thank you page with an offer for a lower priced product that you already know is within their budget.
- Least Likely To Buy Anything – Why not send these people to a thank you page with an offer for a ‘token' product. This could be a product you sell for as little as $10, you never know it might be just what they wanted!
*You may have to set up a lot of this process manually unless you're using ResponseSuite, which allows you to set up automatic smart-redirect – this means that you can set up targeted thank you pages based on applicants answers.*
